It's rarely the location that makes the night, its the people. One of the best nights Ive ever had started in a truck stop parking lot, with a stop in a home depot parking lot, a small park, an apartment and even down by a river. The people with me made that night, not the place, though a nice cabin would have been a great addition.

My good friends grandparents own a cabin on saranac lake ny. My friends, my gf and myself spent four days up there and it made it hands down the best summer of my life we all decided we are going to do this every summer at least once or twice

I know, I know, it's the pleasure from the human interaction and all.....BUT, setting still counts if the folks are there and willing to have a good time. For example, one of the most fun times of my life was 4 couples for 10 days on a houseboat on Lake Powell. Ski boat, Jet Skiis, canoes, good food and drink.......much better setting than a reststop on the interstate! Doyle
