Solo Range day

Took out the old 1911 , .357 ,and the CZ 452 trainer in .22 LR . Man the 1911 needs new mags after 20,000 rds ,but still shoots well . Just last round lock out is hit or miss with the mags . The CZ is a tack driver with its irons . 4 inch group with the J frame Smith 15 yards is decent for a 3 inch barrel.

My mag dump with the 1911 is the black mag in photo . Others mag dumps @ 3 to 7 yds were all over the paper .
Managed that @ 15 yds

The two silver mags are McCormick 8 rounders . The G2C is a little sketchy. Don't drop it loaded Tristan was filling me in on the g2c yesterday

Ahhhh CLP....I put that in my morning tea.....

I still use CLP and always will

Odorless mineral spirits, and Aerokroil. For the bore just a foaming bore cleaner .
Compressed air to dry everything, and then lube. The 1911 likes a finger wipe of 90 weight on the slide / frame .
