Soft/Hard limiter

What are they respectively, and why are there two?

Soft limiter stutters the ignition/motor and tells you thast you are close to the edge. Hard limiter shuts the motor off and tells you that's it, no more.

One last question. When you say the hard limiter shuts the engine off, do you mean off until the rpms drop, or off until I push the start button?

Soft limiter kills two cylinders, Hard limiter both.

The soft limiter is a big concern on bikes with Nitrous and Turbo bikes. Pulling the fuel to two cylinders can mean disaster.
