it is a common site this time of year. looks like they took over an old badger den. makes scense, they both eat prairie dogs.

damn all that- i aint scared of snakes- but i aint goin to look for a mean ole rattler (or a mess of 'em) either!

when my dad was at ft. hood me an a couple of my buddies would walk the tank trails and creeks looking for snakes... surprisingly, we never saw a rattlesnake! plenty of others tho...
