Smog Plates?

Hi my pair valve was disabled when i got flashed, is it necessary to still use smog block off plates. is it different between the 1st and 2nd generation.

You don't have to but they are like $15 on Amazon or Ebay. Yes they are different Gen1 to Gen2

You still have to block the hose going into the back side of the airbox, even with the p.a.i.r turned off.
