Smart TRE

Rencently ordered and recieved the smart TRE - have fit it on the bike but not drove it yet.....
2 questions :

1st As the bike thinks it is in 5th all the time does it effect the speedo readings and mileometer.
2nd How do you know if its working correctly without testing the tre with a circuit testor as I'm not very good with these things.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone that can help.

1st: The TRE does not effect your speedo or odometer readings whatsoever. The changes are made to the signal involving the GPS/ECU and not the gauges.
2nd: Ride it and feel the difference! As long as no FI lights are on or funky stuff happening, it works!

Do a search and you should find plenty of reading material from previous threads!
