Small Filter In Air Box

Hi guys just a quick one to lazy to look it up in the workshop manual there is a coarse small foam filter in the air box on my Gen 2 I think its for excess oil blow by do you clean this or replace after certain miles ? thanks

I just clean mine and emptied the small rubber bowl underneath.
