Slightly different stem mount question...

Ok so I have pretty much decided that the RAM mount stem mount is the best option for a cell phone holder. However first thing this spring I plan on lowering the '13 by using a spacer kit (not spending the extra money for an aftermarket tree cover). Will the fact the stock cover is raised higher than stock height interfere with the ball mount?

You may need a longer socket arm, depending on how much the cover is raised up
