Slash cut and HP question

Hi Gurus
Im in the process of buying a 2003 Hayabusa with 7100 on the clock. It currently has a high mount HMF full exhaust. Looks cool but im also a fan of the Slash Cut exhaust mod. My question to you all, is will i suffer a significant horsepower loss if i switch to stock headers and just slash?
Thanks

Yes, the stock header is where most of the restriction in the exhaust exist. I'd stay with what i got.

If you're looking to change...let me know - I'd love to get that dual high-mount HMF system for my bike... Love the looks...

And I've got the stock exhaust if you're needing it...

So what if i cut the HMF?? no plans to do that but curious

You'll still need a good dyno tune, and with a stock engine you won't gain any hp over what you have. If it's tuned right it'll run good...and loud, with the "slash cuts", just no hp gain, and you still may lose a couple hp.
It's really not a big deal if you like how they look and sound.:beerchug:
