Im thinking of getting one of the Simpson Outlaw Bandit helmets for everyday use . Im gonna have it custom painted to match the bike . Im wondering if any of you can give some reviews of it regarding wind noise and comfort ?

The simpson fails some standard thats used over here .. BSI.. I think they're Snell approved which is not recognised

All Simpson helmets are Snell approved . No it's not 2 shields it just one that rises over the nose like a goggle would do .

I don't think they're DOT approved, but you see a lot of them at the dragstrip.....usually in cars though.

I use a bandit both in my race car and on my bike. Really comfortable , and gets decent ventilation, Visibility is fine if you are looking straight forward , and perifrial ( spelling ? ) is fine as well, But you have to tilt your head down to see the guages or look down. I would buy one if i were you , looks different than all the others...

sorry, wind noise is minimal , no worse than my shoei or hjc.

They are DOT approved. And Snell is recognised...but only if it's on top of a DOT recognition...
