Do you guys in the States have to have a license plate LAMP?
In NZ we must have a lamp for the License plate to pass the Warrant of Fitness.
Also, this plate camera recognition is here "merely to keep the public SAFE, yeah, right. BS to that. It's for total surveillance of all citizens and total control ultimately.

We had to have full rear factory mudguard and reflectors until fairly recently in South Aussie . Now we can run a tail tidy , but the plate must have it's own light and reflector . We also are required to run a certain size cubic cm mirror or just stock factory , standard Busa rubber brake lines , not braided , and all sorts of other bullshit ideas . The pricks over here are total control freaks , I tell ya !!

I want to cut my mudflap off and mount the license under the light like a lot of people have done. But, in TX you have to have a current inpsection sticker in plain view. I don't know if it has to be lit, but the license plate does. Any suggestions? The way it is now, the inspection sticker is...
