Should I be concerned?

When my bike is turned off and sitting, the chain touches an area of the swingarm. I didn't think to check to see if it was any different with the engine started. Is that normal, or do I need to have it adjusted? I took it for a short ride and everything seemed normal. It's an 08 Hayabusa.

Let me check, but I don't think the chain should contact the swingarm.

Mines a little loose, but it is sitting slightly, maybe, on the pad at the top of the swingarm.

Nope its normal.. the chain gets tighter when you sit on the bike. now if its rubbing with your weight on it you need to tighten it.. its good to adjust the chain with your wight on the bike.

I 'spose that does make sense. Just wanted to double check, I would hate to kill a brand new bike.
