shorty exhaust and 2 up

Does anyone ever have complaints from their passenger while riding two up with a shorty exhaust on your bike?

I'm looking into a new full system and like the brocks... but it looks like the exhaust pipe ends right before the passenger pegs. does that get their foot hot or just blow by?
