Shock

I installed my Ohlins shock yesterday at my dealer (me and the wrench). This little swap lasted 2 hrs, and would not be for the faint of heart.

I got the preload (sag) set correctly and now with some good riding weather I hope to finish compression & rebound setting today. It's the normal

Ohlins quality, so I'm happy with it so far.

Jeff,
Please let us know how you feel it's different from the OEM shock when you've got it dialled in.
Is it indeed longer than stock and thus increasing rear ride height by simply swapping these units?
I'm rather satisfied with the stock unit until now AFTER increasing compression and rebound damping as well as increasing pre-load by 1/3 to 1/2 inch. I did this just before I had that trackday with my Busa and haven't touched anything down since then (not even the centerstand I mounted later) although only leaving around 1/8 of an inch of unused tire width in the rear.
