Shift light not working

Not for sure if it's because my fi light is on right now. It does come on when I turn the key on and it does its thing. Then it doesn't work again. I also can't set it either. It won't let me go into the shift light function deal where you can change it and all that.

Any ideas?

Nope. No lightning bolt.

That's why shift light is not working. It's not turned on. I have no answer why it will not let you into the menu unless there is something you aren't doing right.

Hold the 2 buttons for 5-10sec. While still holding the buttons turn the key to on. Then hold the buttons til menu pops up. Is that the correct procedure? If so that's what I did and couldn't ever get the menu to come up.

You have to hit the select button after the gauges cycle. Just holding the two buttons while turning on the key is just part of it.
