She's finally getting fixed

My Busa is finally getting some love. A few years ago I let an ex-friend take my 2011 out and he came back with the Busa wrecked. The damage was bad but just cosmetic. I haven't rode it in over two years and its time to change that. So I've ordered all the parts like a complete faring kit the 2011 decal set etc. And this will be my rebuild thread. I'll post pics of the damage tomorrow.

Here's the damage excuse the pollen on the bike its that time of year.

Aside from cosmetic; what parts do you need?

Tires, valve stems(age) and fork seals(leaking)are bad.
Stainless brake lines are a good idea now(old line's age and sitting).
Brake fluid and coolant need flushed, maybe front pads.
Maybe calipers rebuilt(age of seals and sitting) brake fluid eats everything over time.
Oil and filter change.
I bet an air filter.
Injectors, throttle bodies, and tank cleaned, tb's synced.
Battery
Maybe a chain(don't see any tight links, but outside and unused, there probably are)
I would check the wheel and steering head bearings(they're cheap).
Might as well change the sparkplugs.
Grips and levers.

I think I would sell the Tao-Tao to fund the Busa restoration.
It's going to take some time and money to make it mechanically sound again.
Hopefully some of us can help you.

Selling my old Ninja 250 to fund the Busa. Already have most of that on order.

You can repair the muffler(s) for free.
Cut the broken front end of cf off and redrill the holes and rerivot(they are designed to be repacked anyway).
You can cut the mufflers as short as your eyes and ears like too, it won't harm anything.
Got new Akrapovic cans already. Everyone can prob pick out I got sent the wrong cans those are the Two Brothers VALE shortys which at that time were only made for the Gen 1.
