These chicken sandwiches from Popeyes has swept the nation!!! There has been lines down the block, riots, and damn near mass hysteria over these sandwiches!?!?

I seen a video clip of Janet Jackson getting a police escort into a Popeyes to get a damn sandwich!!! So please are there any Orgsters out there who has tried this crispity goodness??? Does it live up to the hype??? Is it worth risking my life to go to a Popeyes and try to get 1???

I heard they are completely sold out Nationwide!!! And people are selling them on eBay and the black market...... No I’m not exaggerating :banghead:

I haven't yet. But not for lack of trying.

It's been a hoot watching Popeyes and Chik Fil A going at in great fun.

We have this little Man&Pa chicken place called Danny's.

They are even participating in it. Freaking hilarious the jabs they can all keep going. In good fun at each other. This is how America should solve it's differences.

So this is a real thing? I’ve never eaten at Popeyes, chick-fil-a is good and they are busy but don’t understand the hype.

It's laughable from where I sit. :p
The whole 'fast-food' idea is actually 'slow food', coz the time you waste getting in your car, driving through traffic, trying to find a park, waiting in a cue, and then . . . . paying ridiculous amounts of hard earned cash . . just to eat a piece of chicken in a soggy sugary bun, and then drive home again??
. . it's a mentality that turns people into morons, just for the fact they fell for it.
You could have cooked up your own delicious chicken breast stuffed with scrumptious goodies, put it in your own favourite bun, and saved a bundle of fuel, time, energy, cash, . . . . and it would have tasted and satisfied you way more.
That's my 2 cents.

The modern world has become spoiled and lazy.... It is fast food when you consider unless you live on a farm you’ll still have to drive to the grocery store and get the chicken and other ingredients. Then you gotta drive back home. Then you gotta prepare the chicken, cook the chicken, then sit down and eat it. Then you gotta clean up all the dishes you dirtied making the chicken.....

Or you could just go thru a drive thru hand over some money and have your food ready to eat in 3 minutes. Only clean up is throwing away the wrapper....

You forgot to add the 3 other things you get from fast food... Fat, heart attacks, and cancer.

I do more than agree with you!
Fast food - no matter which place you get it from is pure, unhealthy overpriced garbage which does not even taste good. Just the massive amounts of fat carbs and salt makes us crave that crap!

Yes, yes but the Chick-fil-a is crazy. It's not fried I think it's cooked in a pressure cooker like KFC. I haven't tried Popeyes but their stuff is good. More soulful if you know what I mean. I might knock a few people down and get me one tonight!

Chick-fil-a is excellent - took the family to one last week down in Pa. If your going to try the Popeyes (anything) I suggest you do it sooner rather than later. The guys at work & I eat at Popeyes and their portion sizes have decreased every week over the last month or so ☹

The people who invented this crap - Maccas , K fry , Carls jr etc have poisoned the rest of the world with this food in a minute 'convenience' poop as well as the litter that goes with it. :poke:

It all depends on how well your particular franchise does their job. Traveling I’ve compared quite a few and despite the company policy that dictates how to do everything consistently, the quality of final product can vary quite a bit. Prices too.
