sensor going bad? need help

Has any one had to replace the intake air pressure sensor?
I feel like this is my problem I'm having with the bike cutting out at low rpms.
I checked the sensor with a voltage tester and every thing seemed fine until I used a vacuum pump on the sensor and the voltage didn't drop like it should.
this sensor cost $248.00 and I don't want to get it until I know this is my problem...

well I got to try a freinds sensor and it didn't fix the problem.... (got the same reading as mine did, so I must have been reading it wrong) it ran the same too. man this is getting to be a long drawn out problem with it not throwing any codes.
next I'll try the ignition coils I guess
