During a visit to my doctor, I asked him, "How do you determine whether or not an older person should be put in an old age home?"

”Well,” he said, ” fill up a bathtub, then offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the person to empty the bathtub with."

"Oh, I understand," I said. "A normal person would use the bucket because it is bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

”No” he said, ”A normal person would open the drain. Do you want a bed next the window?"

Here is a short neurological test for you to take:

Find the C below. Please do not use any cursor help.

This is not a joke. If you were able to pass these 3 tests, you can cancel your annual visit to your neurologist. Your brain is great and you're far from having a close relationship with Alzheimer.

Congratulations!

But did you know?

Same here but I had an edge. In the early 70s I applied to be a toll taker for the SF Bay bridge. Their test, to be relatively sure a perspective toll taker can accurately count change, was made up of several (pages) of various letters and numbers, caps and lower case, and not only did I have to find the one’s that were unlike the others in a specific row I had to count how many letters or numbers it was positioned in that row. Think about that! So no, I’m not yet ready for the ol timers home.

At least you weren't part of the government's LSD testing in the early '70s...

Had to scan through twice to find the N. I think I’m okay. Wait, what’s this test at the top of this thread? Interesting, I’ll have to give it a try ;)

But I (was) desperate for a job! Now it’s all paper money, minimum of $5 or automatic tolls via photos of your license plate or fastrac passes.
They made you guys who were in 'Nam volunteer for some crazy stuff...

You have to do what you need to do in order to survive, a job is a job.
