Senate Bill 22, also known as the Omnibus Public Lands Bill, is actually a package of more than 160 bills that were melded together to form a single bill, more than 1,300 pages long. One of the sections is to ban motorized vehicles from 2.1 million acres. Yup, no dirtbikes, quads, etc... :-( catering to the tree hugers again. They are going to vote on it early next week. It's already made it through the Senate. If you care about this, please help by contacting your state representative.

Below is the AMA story on the land rights bill issue.

U.S. House members poised to ban motorized vehicles from 2.1 million acres

To contact your state representative through AMA, Go to the above story and select "Issues and Legislation". Then select "Take Action" (in blue) and fill out the e-mail form.

Thanks to anyone who would get involved.
