Seat and tank fasteners (easy release)

as the title reads, who has the best deal on easy release fasteners for the seat and tank? schnitzracing is the only place i know that has them.

Member's name selling is Gixx1300R. On 30-JUL-2006, he PM'd me telling me that they are now $85 for the set.

I know I've seen a picture somewhere of the ones he makes and sells. They look really nice - especially having the lanyard to keep track of the [hitch] pins!

PS - I don't own a set of these...yet. I plan on ordering one soon.

just remember that for the seat ones.....you loose the ability to use the bolts in the future .... tapping out the threads is required.

nope. pins are too big around. any smaller diameter and they start to bend.

its not a problem to buy an extra set of seat mounts if you want to use the stock bolts later

btw i just bought a set from the guy omslaw was referring to. ill let ya'll know how good they are when i get them

i went with the pens drilled out the nuts, then i bought the side covers, had to go with longer bolts, i just welded some more bolts back in place of the ones i had drilled out.
