Scorpio sri 500 "false" alarm

I have the Sri 500 "FALSE" alarm.I followed the instructions to the letter.But the damn things goes off even when there is a strong wind.I used to run to check on it all the time in the past but now i dont.Problem is oneday my bike might actually be getting stolen and id think its just the wind.Anyone else having this issue with it???

I have the same alarm on my bike, with a bike cover so every time it rains my alarm goals off and if the wind blows too hard and the cover vibrate my alarm goes off I also have a proximity sensor so every time a squirrel runs by my alarm goes off

Same here, generally it's the wind. Although the alarm doesn't continue, it shuts itself off...So I feel comfortable with not jumping outtah bed to check on it. If someone were to try to steal it, it would continue to alarm and you'd get multiple ...tilt&perimeter maybe ignition.. I just Deal, cause it still makes me a little more comfortable..

There must be a way to reduce the sensitivity of the perimeter alarm right???

There is a way. Just pop off the circular cap of the perimeter module. use a small screw driver to 'twist' the sensitivity.
