Scorpio sr-i500 remote

I have searched the database for this. Actually spent 1 hour trying to find
the way to open up the remote for this alarm. Someone here has made a post
on opening up the remote to remove the external antenna. I would like to do
this. If anyone knows where this post is please let me know. Thanks much.

You just pry the case open at the seam. It will seem like it's going to break, but it won't. If you're uncomfortable, call their tech support and they'll walk you through it.

LOL ok I will pry that case open. Reason being is that a year ago my antenna broke. So my
reception has decreased immensly! I want somehow to repair it.  But I know I will eventually
get the SR-i900 alarm.  

By incorporating RFID to the system is able to know when the remote is
walking close to the bike and when its not, allowing the user to never have to reach for the
remote to protect the bike.

I dont even want to know how much that remote is to replace... the 500 model is almost $90 to get/ship
