Just went down the pub with Lynne and saw a Kawasaki Z900 in mint condition, I started to talk to the guy who owned it and he said it was a 1976 model and he had it since 1991 and had spent £5000 in mods on it.
He said he had brought it for £1500.
In the 80s I always wanted a Z900 I remember they used to do 130mph, but I couldn't afford one and got a Suzuki GS750 instead.
This thing was immaculate, lots of chrome, the only thing for me was it was red and not green. He said also had a Harley which he was trying to sell and a Yamaha which he used for touring.
He said he had never had the Z900 over 80mph and the handling was not that good, but then said the Harley was a pig to ride. Oh yeh the bike had just under 28000 miles on it. Man I would have loved that bike.
