Thanks Terry for showing me around, was a fantastic ride. Very eventful with the Lambo's trying to race us and all and the end part of the ride. I going to let you narrate some of the post, I'm beat.
What a day Bill and I had! No story, just a few pics of the sights along the way with Bill, on his CHP red 05. Alices to the coast on 84 and Pescadero Rd. then south thru Santa Cruz with a brief respite in Davenport. Then farther south thru Watsonville and back west of Morgan Hill over Mt Madonna on some more two lanes and back to 9 and 35. We were going to loop back to Alices but the cops had Skyline Blvd closed from the south due to a crash involving a low sliding Ducati and a pickup truck. Rumor was that the Duc caught on fire and the rider and maybe the truck driver didn't make it. Will watch for the local news tonight. Hope it wasn't as bad as we heard it was.
The day for us however, was bright and sunny and warm. Little car traffic and lots of two lanes...well, the car traffic we did have was spectacular! Ferraris, Lambos and all manner of supercars, but no pics. They were passing us on a tiny two lane (Pescadero Rd) and out of respect for the neighbors who live along that road we pulled over and let the supercars go by.
The pics I did take are four across in PB. Just click on one to enlarge it and after it appears, click again to make it even bigger. This is easier for me instead of posting single pics that some can't see w/o a link anyway. I love Photobucket!!! Let me know which 'car' is your favorite?
Last one. Again thanks Terry for one of the best rides yet, couldn't have asked for a better escort and please add some goodies to the post, you valley guys are gonna love it once we get you over to this area
