San Fran. Help Needed

Hello Folks:

Been a while, but I thought I would check in to see if anyone here can help me out. I want to ride my bike to a conference in San Fran, one week from today. However, the hotel I am staying at (Palace Hotel) in downtown San Fran. charges $40/night for my bike!!! Since I am there for 5 nights, this is a lot of bread!

Anyone know of a decent alternative for parking? Better yet, anyone have a garage I can stash my bike in for a few days... I just need to be near a taxi or BART to get downtown.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

While not centerally located. Bus ride of five miles to a BART station. A 40 minute BART ride to downtown. Not best arrangement if decide to ride everyday. Can have a place to store here if you like. It'll be safe no worries. Have to call when you want to pick it up. Two German Shepherds likely become attached to the new thing in their yard
