rough surging idle cause?

My friends 'Busa surges 800 - 2500 rpm at idle, said it was serviced 400 miles/ 4 months ago. Has to bring it up to 3500 and dump clutch to take off. Fuel devilvery for sure, sensor or dirty injector? Any way to diagnose this?

Thanks for your immediate responses. I think his is an '04 with maybe 35k miles.
