Knowledgeable sources say that Valentino Rossi has suffered a hand and a shoulder injury in his Saturday AM practice crash in Laguna Seca's turn six.

Rumors began circulating shortly after Rossi rode back to the pits that he had injured his wrist in the spill, however the information now contains his injury to his left hand/little finger and a more troubling damaged shoulder which is quite stiff.

Clinica Mobile technicians are in Rossi's motorhome now working on him.

(12:51 PM. The news now is that he says it's his right thumb and left little finger that were injured when he was thrown off in turn six. Rossi did not mention a sore shoulder in this last injury update.)
