Anyone going to this years rocky point rally in Mexico??
A few of my friends and i will be there. Wouldn't mind to run into a few Hayabusas.

Wow, have not been to Puerto Penasco in 20 years... is the shrimp fleet still sacked out? used to be like 400 shrimp boats out of the area, was down to about 50... We used to do sandy beach and go diving..

(for the wary) Rocky Point is relatively safe and as long as you follow the rules (stay together, get insurance, do NOT tear up the bar) it is a fantastic time.. You can go to the "American" sector and rent condo's etc or stay on the beach perfectly safe (for the most part, safer than the California coast IMHO).. Now this may have changed a bit but they rely heavily on the USD for survival and so take care of the Americans pretty darn well.. Food is safe (take your own water) and talk about some killer fireworks

A good number of Dive shops out of the Phx area use Rocky Point for open water checkouts.. can not be that bad huh?
