I'm looking to buy a new bike and of course have been eyeing the hayabusa since I knew what it was. My first bike was a 600 Katana, from there I went to a 636 Ninja, 1200 sportster, and then to a GSXR 1000. I loved the GSXR but it was just a little small in size and weight for me to ride comfortably. I am a big guy 6'2 about 240. Is the hayabusa comfortable on longer rides because when I ride I might go anywheres from 100-200 miles...depending on my mood. Any info would help me out as I'm going to be purchasing a new ride very soon.

i'm a big guy also (6'1 297lbs) and i ride 100 miles rides often (3300 miles since April 27 including three weeks of ran and i think it's comfortable going to do a couple of mods for a little more comfort.

(Longer) rides of 1-200 miles?

Yes, the Busa will treat you right on those 'longer' rides.

I sometimes spend 10-12 hours in the saddle with no problems. highly recommend the tobin seat tho if your looking to put some miles underneath you.
