the lake always fills up in spring from the snow up higher

they will lower the level to make room before the spring as well as make room for run off

Same spot

This one is a 3-pic panoramic of the Old Don Pedro Reservoir looking southward.

This region near Jackson, CA is a band of rolling hills b/n 2000-4000 feet. Awesome riding. Especially in springtime. These were shot in March to get the ultra-green color.

This is shot from Stony Creek Rd, which wraps around to the other side. The viewpoint is at center right in this pic.
