ride from ct to deals gap

Gonna be doing this in a few weeks and meeting some buddies who are trailering their rides.
Any tips on good places to stop, stay and eat?
I will be doing the ride solo on my own and am planning to make the 800 miles in one day ... if anyone is interested in joining me speak up.

You might consider doing it in two and ride Skyline and BRP all the way down, you can start in the Gettysburg area, ride west Conn, down into west Jersey, over into east Penn through Gburg to the top of Skyline south of Gburg. This is a great ride and best to do on the way down. Do the 800 in one day on the way home.

Don't do it in the rain! I just did TN to upstate NY, lil over 800mi ,,in one day. Other than the rain and cold, it was good

Try to leave early if ya can, comin in through 129 in the dark isn't gonna be fun.

Don't overlook the other great roads in the area that won't have the cops/cars/bikes that the Gap itself has.. The Cherohola Skyway towards Tellico Plains is a very nice ride.
