I've healed my wounds...But this is what has me so happy right now...I've had this car for years and it showed that it had been driven when I bought it...I had always promised myself that I would restore it...At least pay for it's restoration...Well I finally got off my butt and got the job started...

The work is being done by Shelby's Body Shop here in Jackson, TN...If I ever paint my bike they will do it also...Super friendly guys that promise I will not be disappointed...Also said it was fine to drop in and take pictures of the progress...Didn't want to be getting on their nerves...

Very nice, I have always had a spot in my heart for a fast good looking car. One of the things I love is to build a killer big block (yes there is nothing like a big block)... That is going to be one nice ride STUNNAH, I had one it was a LS with the T tops... I made the mistake of giving it to my Son for his first car... Boy... the things a kid can do with a telephone pole! Ok so I have to ask.. ya going to build up a killer motor?

Nice car to restore, gotta love a chevy. Interested to know about motor.  The bigblocks are nice, but $$$$  I've had lots of luck with smallblocks over the years. My 69 nova runs 6.80 1/8 mile with a 350.  Anyways, if you need help finding parts let me know

Cool Stunnah.. It will be purdy cool when they finish I dare say... A guy I work with has a navy blue with white leather interior.. just the factory 305 V8 though... very pimp at any rate.

Oooooo...that's going to be cooool!

So, whatcha going to do with the engine? What color will it be? Tires? Rims? Stereo? Trans? Funny, everybody wants to know about the engine first!

Details man! We want details! And keep the pics coming as it goes along.

Hey Stunnah......be ready to throw lots of money at it!!!! I have over $35K into my restored Trans Am. Fun Fun fun....but geez does it cost a bundle!! Enjoy bud!

Actually for the most part the car is in good condition...Original Maroon paint and stripes...The only interior work (major) will be repairing the drivers seat where the previous owner had been smoking what appears to have been a blunt and burned holes in the fabric and the vinyl sides have burst...The engine stock is mechnically sound and I don't intend on doing anything to it...Sound system already installed CD, two 12 inch subs and more so yeah she bounces...Going to install a remote starter and alarm...Flow Master exhausts...And the day she gets out of the paint shop 20 inch Stealths are going on...The anticipation is about to kill me...

Not ruling out an upgarde to a larger engine at some point but it is not of concern now...

Car looks "DA BOMB" Stunnah. But seriously, instead of the 20 inch Stealths, go with the 20 inch Monderas. Would be a new twist and would look a lot better than the Stealths. Check 'em out.

I just bought a '98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP wide-trac a few months ago. It's red and looks like the shiznit. I bought rims w/ tires from a buddy of mine for 8 bones and they really set her out. Will post pics of it soon. Was trying to wait til I get the Busa back together so that I can show it along with the GP and the Suburban.
