Here's the 2 Main Rules:
1. If a copper is coming up behind you with lights on and siren blasting, assume he needs you to get out of the way. Please clear out and make room for him, do this by simply twisting the throttle until he is no longer in your rear view mirror. Then turn down a side street and pull in the first driveway you come to and park in the rear of a strangers house. Knock on the door and tell the home owners that you grew up in the house and you just wanted to stroll down memory lane.
2. If you are in the process of twisting the throttle and you run out of gas or your bike is acting up, just calmly pull to the side of the road. Then JUMP OFF your bike with quickness and shuffle for you license on the inside pocket of your jacket, the officer with appreciate the hustle. Be sure to run up to his car window at the same time you are getting you license for the kind officer. You want to make this process as easy as possible on the officer. One more thing, If you don't have your license or insurance on you but you are carrying a firearm, you may want to try and impress the officer with it, follow the same procedure as you would with you license and be sure and have it out for him to see, and please make a mad dash for his car window, cops like guns.

I have been stopped last summer .I shut off engine, took my helmet off and put it on my gas tank holding it.For couple minutes nothing happened.Then I put my bike on side stand, helmet on the floor and leaning on the side of the bike.Then he showed up.After few minutes talking to him, I asked him why he wouldn't come before I got off the bike.He said that first, they run the plates .Then they come and talk to you.Also getting off the bike,they could see your hands.Just stay beside it, not going towards them.

Step one is to speed away. This insures that
A.> You are the one the cop was after.
B.> The cop calls in some buddies to aid in the pursuit.
Step two is after there are sufficient cops you pull over
(No need to remove helmet, you're not wearing one)
Whip out fully loaded sub machine gun and shot gun
and fire away.

Yes, take your helmet off, shut the bike down, let it rest on the kick stand. Thats let them know your not going to take off when they approach you. Also I would stay on the bike.
