Remove exhaust gasket

How do you remove the exhaust gaskets? They look pretty soilded or do I have to remove them. I have new ones. You guys are very helpful thanks any ideas would be helpful

when I installed YOSH pipes on my old '01, I used a dental pick to remove the old gaskets. Yes, highly recommend you remove the old and use NEW gaskets.

Having to do everything over because you discovered an exhaust leak @ the headers (from reusing the old gaskets) will make you do this :headache::down::duh::cry:

I just used a flat head screwdriver.

did the same thing when i did mine.. just didn't want to chance it!
