remove caps off  triple clamp?

Yes...just use some thing sharp and pry them off. You can use some floss or a very sharp knife, just be gentle with her to avoid scratching.

Look around the upper edge of the cap and you will find a small groove that you can pry it open with using something like a small flat head screw driver.

Huh... I used a 5lb Sledge Hammer, and a Cold chisel... Them lil bastards came right off... Easy...

Might want to try a 10lb Sledge with a large head... Should be easier that way...
