Concerned with longevity and reliability of the remote starter, or of the engine being started?

If longevity of the engine, and not comfort/convenience is the priority, consider an electric oil pan heater. Most of the damage done to an engine is starting it up cold. An oil pan heater is going to be cheaper than a GOOD remote starter, and will reduce engine wear while improving fuel economy.

If you're looking for a reliable remote starter for convenience, that I can't help you with. I've never found any good ones.
