well i would like ot say everything went smoothly, but it was quite the opposite. i arrived at the airport about 5:45. went to the security gate with my printout. they wouldn;t let me pass, i needed a boarding pass. so i go to the counter. no one is there, i go back to security, 100ft away. they are still checking people in. they send me back to the check in to wait.
st this point i kinda freak out! i start banging on thier bell. no one to be seen. i jump the counter and bang on the door! finally i yell "HELP ME!" at the door. realise the futality and sit down on the luggage part of the desk. the airport cop comes runnin tward me from around the corner. and comes up to me and tells me if i don't calm down and stop scareing the others that he is going to have to do something about it. i compose myself, and begin to accept it as i come to trarms that i am going to miss my flight. something i have worked twards for a year and a half. i listen to the rest of the passangers go through security, the plane lands, be deboards, boards passangers. and still i wait. after 40 min, the door finally opens and 2 women emarge. they tell me i missed my flight (DUH!) and i can fly out sat at 6:50am. un acceptable, i have to be in meetings tonight and all day sat.ok how about you give us $1100 and we fix it:banghead: i go to leave and the guard comes to check on me, after ive been waiting on my wife for 5min. says "everyone says you smell like booze and pot." i telll him ok what ever, ust another addition to a crappy day. (i smelled like musk and cigars) tell him im watin for my wife for a ride, pretty much f-off. go home and begin 4hrs of calls.
i call Hawaii, i call cali. i call everyone i have a # to. about 10:30 i get a call back and begin to work things out.
i have an awesome agent nancy and linda at world wide travel! they got my ticket moved around, i flew out at 1, had long rushed changes on flights, but finally landed in Hawaii around 9pm. :cheerleader:
i got picked up by an reletave i hadn't seen in 10yrs, and i don't remember, but he turned out cool. gave me a ride to my hotel. i went right in to meetings, where i stayed til 1am. have more meetings starting at 10am and i still need to print out copies of my report for the BOD.
although i did walk a block down to the beach and dip my feet in the ocean.

i don't beleve i really made it! im here! i thought my trip was over before it ever began! i swar i listened to the plane take off w/o me as i was pulling back into my house.
this morning, life sucked so bad. well it shure as heck dosen't suck now!

as i write this i am sitting in the top (14th) floor of a hotel, looking out over Honolulu. on the balcony, enjoyin life!

i left my cpu power cord at home when i left, so i didn't have a puter while i was there. i tried thumb wrestling my phone but yall see how well that worked:laugh:. im beat. 13hr flight, 3hrs lay overs. i took a nap this afternoon, ate, and im going back to bed.
i took over 400 pics while i was there. i will work on my report tomarrow.

thank you to NCOM, uncle Scott, Riccoh, and Kento-Moto, for making this trip as awesome as possible.:thumbsup::beerchug:

ok, after a nightmare of a plane trip i finally made it. walked in late to a meeting, darn thing lasted til 1am. spent all the next day in meeings, finding out what is going on in Hawaii and the rest of the country. looks like every state is busy fighting for their right to ride. i get cut loose late in the day and spend it swimming and watching the sun go down on the beach. i had forgotten how salty the sea really is.

after our NCOM duties were fulfilled a group of us went out to Pearl Harbor for a special ceremony to celebrate our friend Sputniks life. we cried, the sky cried, the rain was warm.

that evening i got to meet up with one really cool cat! RICCOH!:cheerleader: He came and picked me up at the hotel. we went out to his place where i briefly met his wife, and got to play with bikes for a while. he had a friend of his come over to work on fitment for a new product Tiger Racing is working on  (i was asked to keep a secret and im tryin! but that was darn groovy!). anyway, we worked and chatted around his garage. after his friend left he asked me if i wanted to go for a ride. well do bears use rabbits to wipe their butts? of course i do!!. :cheerleader:
im standin there gearing up in my head to ride a 1200 sporty, and he tosses me the keys to his beatuiful red 07 hayabusa! wow what a man!:bowdown::beerchug:

we rode back down by the beach and past my hotel so i wave at my friends. it felt so good to ride a Busa in Hawaii. check one off the bucket list.
it was awesome! i would get in so much trouble in that island with my bike:laugh:

the next morning i went with the Bish family to Hanauama bay to go snorkeling. now that was a neat experience. it was soo pretty there. the fish were right in my face. though the water was a little chilly. i would float around for 20min and have to get out and warm up for a while. i was wishing i had a little fluff to keep me warm. we left happy and tired. but who has 2 thumbs and loves snorkeling? this guy

glad it worked out for you to get over there in time for the meetings and to spend some time with great friends from the .org :beerchug:

hay, :poke: Russ you forgot to finish:whistle:

sorry about that folks.

now where was i.....oh yea hawaii.

i did get to eat well while i was there. i went out with the Bish's to an all you could eat seafood place. had a smoking pineapple:thumbsup: and no trip is complete with out a hawaiian pig roast, complete with stage show hawaiian line dancers. food reminded me of a good biker party. mmm pig. ohh i had some good fish tacos too!
i rented a scooter and rode a loop around the southern 1/2 of the island. i kept my mighty 150cc orange firebolt pegged the entire "three hour tour" :whistle:cue Gilligan's island theme music.
i had no problems on my 3hr tour. i'd squeelie in sideways into a picture stop, snap a few, and hot rod out.
my last day there i met up with Kent=kento-moto, he took me around for a motorcycle shop tour after zappin me with a good cup of coffie. sorry i wasn't in my prime buddy, come up to Sturgis and i'll show ya how its done. :beerchug:
the bike shops were neat. got a Suzuki Hawaii t-shirt. and went to the Harley/Kawasaki/Vespa dealership??? they had some neat bikes in the rafters.

Awesome post man, Hawaii is a place me and the wife always wanted to go to. Rent a bike and just ride around, checking out the beaches. Sounds like you had a blast once the airport was done with.
