rectifier wires melting again

3rd rec 2nd stator. All 3 yellow wires out of rec keep melting. Was told by Suzuki rep to jump into pos and neg wires str8 to batt. This will complete a circuit if loose ground. Wires still melting. Stator is to spec and so is rec. Have volt gauge on bike and reads 12.9 resting, 14.9 idle and 14.4 moving. Need help!! Spent way too much already. For time being gonna cut melted parts out and add more wire using 12g 240 temp Furnace wire. I'm lost. Riding season never ends. Any help or direction would be appreciated

its overcharging.. 12.9 rest ,max voltage 14.45 at about 3k and 5k back down to about 13.5-13.7

What do I do? How come the shop didn't pick it up? They said everything to spec. Even had rep look at it. He told me jumping wires would correct
