I'm thinking of uprgrading my rearsets, and relieving my riding position a bit. What are the org impressions of the aftermarket rearsets available out there. I saw Vortex on ebay for $346 with a trade in discount of $100. I've seen others reasonably priced as well.......

What's the poop on your rearset, and how do you like what you have

Adam,
I don't know personally, because I am in the market myself - but I have narrowed my desires down to two
Cycle Cats
Gillies

Don't know if that helps...

Satos, beautiful finish, fit and the most comfortable I've found.

different sets are good for different needs.

Lately I really like the new gilles set.
Cycles cats is similar but not as adjustable.
LSL also has a very good adjustable set.

If you're looking for a set to use on the track try and get one that will break away.  Most rear sets don't and the peg will be snapped off in a crash.

For drag racing RCC has made the lowest adjustable set on the market right now. The peg itself is very dangerous! It's knurled in a way that leaves very sharp pointed tips. Great to keep your boot planted on the peg but it'll cheap the skin right off your calf when moving your bike around without boots on.

There are alot of other good adjustable quality sets on the market. It may come down to the "look" you want and your budget. Look for a set that has a round peg with good boot grip.

I've got Harris adjustable set on mine. At the time there were few that were adjustable. If I could start over today though I personaly would go with the Gilles new design.

As for me, I'm still in the market for some rearsets and a speedohealer.

I'm not real taken with the Sato rearsets....I haven't seen the new Gilles, but I'm still leaning towards a set of the Vortex's....they're more along the lines of what I'm looking for.

Now how do I flip the shift pattern upside down
