Been wanting to lower my pegs for awhile now , and decided to take a gamble on adapting a Valter Moto rearset riser plate Part # PAPS06 , for standard Hayabusa rearsets . The plan was to reverse these plates , and see if I could fit and lower my Gilles rearsets mounting plates . It worked out well , and successfully lowered the rearsets by 30mm , but are now 20mm further back . The ride evaluation is on going , but from a couple of short rides , the comfort is much improved . I do not know how other footpeg set ups will fare , but the VM plates obviously accept any rearset that would match the Busa frame lugs . I had to notch the muffler mount tab and bracket , and cut down some titanium hardware , and put in an order for some extra ti bolts also . Looking forward to next hills blast for full test , but everything looks fairly tucked in and out of the way .
