I was almost to work and noticed my rear brakes are almost non-existent. The pedal is very squishy. Fluid is in the reservoir, no sign of leakage. Should I just try bleeding them once, or take it to the dealer. I assume it is pretty much the same as bleeding any automotive brake. Pump it up, hold it, loosen the bleeder, tighten the bleeder, repeat? Any other thoughts are welcome. I am hoping for some reason there is just air in the line. I just turned 1000 miles.

+1 on bleed.

Nah, your pads are probably worn out. Check that first. Good bleed afterward wouldn't hurt at all.

I don't use my rear brakes hardly at all. I know I never had issues wiht my last Busa up to 14-15K miles? I am going to check today.

Just make sure when you put your new rear pads in that you put the retainer clip in the right way. Backwards, and they will wear exceptionally fast.

And yeah, the rear pads can wear out VERY fast.
