raising the rear suspension

I tried raising the rear end up by using SV650 dog bones...It raised up alright but DAMN..the bike sets up so high now i have to stand on my toes...when i set it on the stand it leans over too much....also during hard breaking it wants to do a stoppie...the front forks almost feel like they are straight down....
....what i need is a dog bone which is shoeter than the stock...& longer than the SV650...Anybody???

Schnitz sell a bone to raise it. It may be adjustable, but I don't recall. Take a look at their site and check it out.

Thanks rustman..i checked schnitz web site...$39.95..
since i done spent $35. on the SV650 dogbones..i took them to a good machine shop..i gave them the sizes of the stock dog bones & told them i needed a size in between the two...they filled the holes & drilled new ones now the bike is raised an inch...it feels perfect....thanks again..
