Raising Rev Limit??

I am getting a tune and the tuner will be using the EcuEditor... Given that power seems to tail off dramatically after 11000RPM.. is there any point in raising the factory rev limiter???

nope. Once the engine comes off the cams there's nothing good going on top of that.

true the hp drops off around 10.5 to 11.5 or so , but factory rev lim is set low so it cuts out you dont get to use that hp ,, i had mine reset to 11.2 so i can pull thew the hp curve then shift keeping the revs up in a higher level for the next gear,,


dont worry about the motor,, it will be fine if you set a little higher
