Radial Calipers on a Gen1?

that's pretty cool:thumbsup: never thought about doing that. what is the advantage of having the brake caliper that way?
 
that is pretty slick, I just ain't too much on guinea piggin on stuff I really dont want to fail.
 
That is pretty cool, but I wonder if you get any of the stiffness advantage of the radial caliper setup vs. using forks designed with the correct mounts for the radial caliper.

Those Beringers are conventional mounts, that is, the mounting bolts are parallel to the axel instead of pointing towards the axel like a "radial mount" caliper. But they do look beautiful.

The site is Japanese and their translation software is only so so.

It means the calipers are mounted in the regular fashion, same as the stock calipers.
