Radar install

I want to use the Bell STI-R model radar detector and would like to know if anyone has tried to mount on of these on a busa. the receiver is 3X4X1 and im wondering if will fit the area below the headlight?

my adapter to plug in the radar is under my right dash. i used velco 2 mount it. I am not sure what a 'receiver' is. the detector itself fits nice just under the windscreen. my double bubble helps 2 c it

Mine's a passport, but you could probably do the same thing. Works really well and gives me the option to turn it on and off without having to unplug it.

The last picture was taken before I bolted it to the screen. The suction cups allowed it to bounce up and down when I went over bumps and sometimes it would bounce so hard the end with the display on it would smack the screen. Once I bolted it, that problem was solved.

i used an aluminum bar with suction cups and velcrow on the radar and i can use the bar for garage opener
