Radar dectector mod

Hey gang, I came up with this idea and it worked.

I had been wanting to purchase an H.A.R.D. system to enhance my radar detector's ability to warn me but I already have over $390 into the system. So an extra light to warn me was gonna be another $165 for the H.A.R.D. from radar busters.LINK

So I go to my local audio repair wizard guy and I ask if he has an led that can attach and will light up when the audio signal is sent to the ext speaker on my BEL RX65. He says "yep"

He charged me $20

hahahahahahahahah ....... HAH! Ok u hippies. I just tuck it inside near the face shield along with the speaker near the ear, thought u could figure that part out. Yes he solder'd it but I didnt ask the spec's on the led but I will find out if ya want.
