Actually, the lower looks pretty decent. Anywayz, it's meant for going down...knock on wood...with minimal damage. Are you gonna start racing too?

But the bike does have that really LIGHT feeling especially up front with no headlight assembly. It's amazing how much race ready they feel just with raceglass.

The R1 is a great track weapon. The power is comparable to a 1st generation Busa, you just have to rev it too the moon. From 10k rpm's things get real interesting, quick.

My R1 makes right at 160rwhp and I hope to have a ported and flowed head with a bump in compression by next season...maybe 170ish or so.....at 390lbs......

After switching off a Busa, that's like an atomic powered dirtbike

That's pretty much how my Gixx feels. Busa power with an almost dirtbike chassis. Awesome power to weight ratio.

I may race a bit next year...I plan on getting my WERA certification at a school in the Fall. I think it would be a great experience.

I am using stock Yamaha 1/4 turns. Love that they come with those.

I am waiting on NESBA's schedule to come out in January. I am sure it will be Road Atlanta.... me likey the back straight!
