Quickshift?

You would need a strain gauge type shifter to send a signal to the ECU to cut ignition, I'm sure. You would not need the wiring loom to connect inline with the stick coils wire. Sounds like it will cost about the same as a stand alone shifter but possibly have some valuable parameters like variable kill time for gear/rpm/throttle position, maybe. I would have a look at the set up menus for the ECU quickshifter function so you can choose a quickshifter that doesn't duplicate what the ECU already does. If the ECU quickshifter function is detailed enough, you can probably buy a less expensive shifter and get all the benefits of a high end one.
