~~quick..what size ~~

The same exact size of the head that is on a 5/8 bolt from Home Depot ( at least I think it's a 5/8 threaded bolt. Guess you'll know for sure tomorrow!) But two nuts to go along with the bolt. thread one on about 2" in then thread the other right next to it. Tighten them together then insert the head of the bolt into the axle nut. Using a wrench on the two nuts locked together you have a $2 removal tool.

The rear nut is 25mm X 1.5 threads....
 
Are you looking for the Gilles axle nut? Part number ACM-25-15    Tucker-Rocky part number  63-4003
